Three new films from Microcosm Publishing will be screened at AIR: Still We Ride (37 minutes), The Other Side (43 minutes), and X-Ray Visions (68 minutes). 8PM, donations happily accepted! Bring your friends! -Still We Ride is an action packed documentary providing a glimpse into the shocking showdown between the monthly Critical Mass ride and the New York City Police Department. -The Other Side explores US/Mexico immigration issues, following activist groups that supply water and rides to people crossing the border. -X-Ray Visions tells the story of the X-Ray Cafe, an entirely unique all-ages venue whose presence put Portland on the map as an epicenter for weird, alternative arts and culture. |
