
Pittsburgh IMC is hosting a weekend of media events August 14-16. August 14 the IMC held a lecture featuring Prof.
Jonathan Sterne of the University of Pittsburgh, author of "The Audible Past: The Cultural Origins of Sound Reproduction."
On Saturday, August 16, IMC volunteers will be giving workshops on video and radio production as well as photography and media consumption. The workshops will take place from 1 to 4 pm at
Project 1877.
On Saturday evening, the IMC hosts an open house at its office space at project 1877, featuring film screenings and a performance by Cardinal Points. All are invited, admission is free and food will be provided! Join members of the Cleveland, Ithaca, and DC Indymedia centers, pittsburgh activists, and our neighbors in garfield and bloomfield at the
IMC Open House!
