"The University has refused to meet or dialogue with us for 2+ months so we've decided to go ahead and pencil in a meeting for them. "

"The University of Pittsburgh has refused to discuss or dialogue with us about ANYTHING related to student concerns. We are therefore taking it upon ourselves to pencil in a meeting with Chancellor Nordenberg. The current situation at Pitt is unacceptable."

At approximately 3:40 this afternoon, 2 banners were dropped from a balcony of the Cathedral of Learning at the University of Pittsburgh in protest to the silencing of the student voices by the university. From there, students rallied infront of the cathedral. Then 2 students when into the Chancellor's office and spoke to his secretary about scheduling a meeting. They were diverted to the 'scheduling' secretary, whom which they could not speak. Then at about 4:15 all of the students went inside, knocked on the door, rang the door, and phoned the office. They were put on hold on the phone, and names were taken to return call, and the door was never answered...
