Jan 24-26th Appeal for Medics in Pittsburgh at regional anti-war convergence

Calling all medics!
Thousands of people are expected Jan 24-26th for the largest anti-war convergence to hit Pittsburgh in 30 years. Please see http://www.organizepittsburgh.org/war.htm or http://www.thomasmertoncenter.org for the comprehensive schedule of events. There is a TON of stuff going on and there is likely to be a lot of direct actions aimed at disrupting the war machine. As one of the people trying to help arrange adequate medical personal during the events I�m sending out this appeal for help! Pittsburgh does not have the numbers of experienced medics for a regional convergence of this magnitude. If you have medical experience and are interested in coming to Pittsburgh please contact the pittsburgh organizing group people at pog@mutualaid.org so they can pass you along to medical logistics.
