PLA Bucket Brigade marches downtown for peace.

On Saturday morning, the PLA Bucket Brigade was out in full force. About twenty people with homemade bucket drums, green shamrocks pinned to their shirts bearing a heart, peace symbol and circle a, and green face masks marched and drummed through the streets in the downtown parade. While banging out their sweet cadences, they chanted things such as “Give Peace a Chance” and “Bring Our Troops Home”.

Overall the intoxicated crowd liked the drummers, with only a few hecklers, mainly middle aged white collar men. The crowd seemed to love the fact that the buckets were drums, and supported the groups chants.
