Arrestee report

Good evening.
I was one of the people arrested on Friday.
There were four people arrested at two separate locations. One policeman, Raymond Kain, of district 6 was the instigator for all of the arrests.
Charges filed against the arrestees included:

Failure to Disperse
Disorderly Conduct
Obstructing Public Passage
Vehicle Code - Failure to Obey Rules of the Road.
Vehicle Code- Travelling more than two abreast
Vehicle Code - Right Side of the Road
Vehicle Code - Failure to stop at a stop light.

There may be one or two more, but that is all i know of. Looking at the law books, I think that the only offenses that they can charge us with without saying that a bicycle is not a vehicle (which is is according to PennDOT) are riding more than two abreast, and possibly running a red light, though it is not clear whether the person charged with this actually did it.

A couple of personal notes:
Giggle. My car insurance may actually go up because some of the charges are moving violations!
Thankyou to all of the people who came down to the jail, and who called to see if i was o.k. It really helps.

Did you know that Pennsylvania, and especially allegheny county have some of the highest drunk driving rates in the country? This is a powerful arguement for the city to end its policy of undermining human powered and public transport. Buses and bikes are what we likes!
