In St. Petersburg, FL I attended a Pinellas County for Kucinich meeting. This official group is showing it's diversity by reaching out to military families with a Christmas Eve Peace vigil at McDill Air Force Base; soliciting support from Student Government leaders at local Universities; and planning their float entry in one of the largest Martin Luther King Day Parades in the country. This group is relying heavily on the internet to coordinate their activities by using secret chat rooms and a localized message board.

Kucinich Supports @ McDill Air Force Base

In Morgantown, WV I visited Head Shops and local Coffee Houses passing out Dennis's position paper on the Decriminalization of Marijuana before running into singer song writer Greg Klyma. He's got his finger on the pulse of Health Care, the media and that new top 40 song "911". The full interview is very informative and entertaining.

Pittsburgh, PA was the next stop. This is where the Road Show winds down. I visited a good friend who had previously attended a "No War in Iraq" rally with me even though he fully supported the war. This a very open minded man. His perspective is that of the newly awakened, the "have to admit I was brainwashed" crowd.

The Road Show Culminates at Campaign headquarters in Cleveland Ohio where I was allowed to run the camera in the office area of the Live web cast New Year's Eve party. It was a glorious way to bring in 2004. I met KucinichWatchers from The Cleveland Scene, most of the hardworking office staff and some how managed to NOT "officially" meet our next President. Although we did exchange"Happy New Year's" and "See ya in Iowa's" as he left. I was behind a camera all night but it was streaming live so I was not able to get much usable footage.

For the last 9 days I've been holed up in Chad Ely's basement (National Campaign Media Koochordinator) helping, editing the Road Show and renewing my faith in mankind. I have crossed this great country from the solitary confinement of my my computerized dungeon in California in a very round about way; only to find another much like me, only smarter, sitting in a better computerized dungeon in Cleveland. Chad Ely is a dedicated and much overlooked asset to this campaign. He has effective ideas and executes them with technical mastery and levity of spirit. So far, I am most honored to have met him and hope that we may remain friends and cohorts for a long time to come.

It has done my heart good to meet so many wonderfully informed Kucinich supporters. Much love and respect to my new friends. It is people like you who hold the fate of our country; now that I've met you my fear ends and hope begins.

See ya in Iowa,

~solidarity
