As 200+ gathered to shame a fundrasier for Arlen Spector with his showdog Geroge W. Bush, 6 people end up being arrested for? What charges?

Jail Solidarity will be taking place tonight at the Allegheny County Jail located on 950 Second Avenue in Downtown Pittsburgh. Those who can stay until the arrested are released are encouraged. Please bring whatever support you can. Food, Blankets, Cushions, Laughter, Determination, Musical Instruments, Bail Money. The Liberty Bridge will keep us covered from any impending rain.

If you cannot be there, please direct all support to the Thomas Merton Center. Calls will be answered as soon as possible at (412)-361-3022

Donations for legal support can be sent to:
The Thomas Merton Center
5125 Penn Avenue
Pittsburgh, PA 15206

Please contact Pittsburgh Chief of Police Robert McNeilly and demand that all charges be dropped and the arrested to be released, 412-323-7800. He should be in around 8 am.
