DC arrest updates

people are being released!

I've been in contact with several people who've been arrested today, the legal team in DC, and people who avoided arrest in DC.

Roughly 40 Pittsburgh people have been arrested, but are being released currently. Several people have already been released; IMC affiliates are close to being released but have not yet been. I've been unable to make direct contact with any PghIMC folks, other than those with the legal team.

One woman (CMU student) who was arrested became dangerously dehydrated and released to be taken to the George Washington University Hospital to be treated. When I called, she had just been released.

The telephone number for legal support (they can give you information about who has and has not been arrested thus far) is (202)321.4627

Last update about jail solidarity is that there are 6 women and 13 men in prison, who will not give their names. Solidarity!

Keep watching dc.indymedia.org for updates.
