Pittsburgh IMC on WRCT

A Pittsburgh Indymedia report on the WB/IMF protests will air next Saturday on WRCT.
When I went to DC I took John Harrold's minidisc recorder, and with the gracious help of Jason Togyer of WRCT, I made something useful out of the recording. The resulting 9-minute audio documentary will be airing next Saturday, Oct. 12, at 2:00pm on WRCT, FM 88.3. That's CMU's station, yinz. As soon as I get it in MP3 I'll post it onto this site . . .

also:
1. A portion of the Howard Zinn lecture will air during that hour too. And I think an interview with someone else. An alternative journalism hour of power!
2. If you are interested in doing audio projects like this, get in touch with the pittsburgh imc, either by email (info@indypgh.org) or by coming to a meeting!!!

the real reason i'm posting this is to test my code for updating the newswire comment count when the comment is posted.
i wish php were strongly-typed. i wonder if we could rewrite sf-active in OCAML.

so, yeah, i finally got the newswire updates to behave how i wanted.
now post that audio :)
