Reasons Revealed for Steelers Bloc
by Myron Cope Monday, Jan. 27, 2003 at 1:22 PM

Proof that George Bush hates Pittsburgh

The following messages trickled down through the ranks; until it reached our defensive line. We present the messages to you in their entirety. (1)

The Interception

Hey Cowher,
I dont know what you think you know up there in knowledge town.(2) But here in Oil Town, we know its not gonna be none of that Stillers! Here We Go! bullshit. You best loose that playoff game. I want those drunken morons that live in Iron City to be good and pissed off so they will not think twice on dropping a long bomb on Saddam. Them Yinzers will wanna get their anger out somehow and murdering a bunch of innocent people just might fill that void. Ive already talked to the refs and they are gonna throw the game. If we can rig an election it wont be nuthin to rig a football game. Not a peep out of you or those butt wipes you call a team. Well you make sure things go how we want or three rivers stadium isnt going to be the only stadium thats been blowed up. By the way periogis suck and that Iron City beer tastes like texas long horn piss.

Your President,
G. W. Bush

Dear Mr. President and the corporations that pull your strings,

On behalf of the steelers and every steeler fan.
Fuck Yinz! We play for honor not to serve your propaganda machine. Im going straight to the anarchists with this. You might be able to buy off and push around some refs but the Steelers will never throw a game!

Bill Cowher

Dear Black Bloc

I cant tell you who I am but lets just say Im the coach of a very important sports related activity.
I LIKE YOUR STYLE. You should add some gold to your black bloc motif. I thought you may be interested in the information I have attained. I hope it helps you tackle our corporate overlords. Down with Bush!

Mad Love, Your Special Friend

Footnote 1 None of this is true.
Footnote 2 Remember when George Bush called Pittsburgh Knowledge Town. It was a really stupid thing to say.
