Art Votes is hoping to place artists at three polling locations in Lawrenceville to display the talent of the art community as well as educate voters and the media.

ART Votes is a collective, non-partisan group of artists and avid supporters of the artistic community in Pittsburgh. We are seeking visual artists, musicians, street performers, magicians, and anyone with a talent. Please assist us with our goal of politically mobilizing the art community in Pittsburgh, sending a message to politicians in the city that the artistic community votes and needs to be recognized! Your time and talent is necessary to help accomplish these goals.

On February 25, 2003, a special election will be held for the open city Council seat in District 7. We are hoping to place artists at two or three polling locations in Lawrenceville in order to display the talent of the art community as well as educate voters and the media.

Please contact Allison at amhaley610@yahoo.com with questions or to sign up for February 25 to show Pittsburgh that ART Votes!
