Gov. Rendell's proposed state budget messes over bus riders, college students, those without health insurance, state workers and more!
Come to a rally to protest Gov. Rendell's proposed budget for fiscal year 2003-2004. This budget cuts state support for the day to day operations of our buses and trollys to the lowest level since 1995. It cuts funding for public welfare, environmental protection, education, the elderly and job training. It is a disgrace!
Save Our Transit invites all those who hate this budget to gather in Market Square on Wedensday the 19th of March at High Noon. If you want to say something at this rally about how this budget will kick you in your duppa just call Stephen at 412-361-3022 or email sdonahue412@hotmail.com
In the event that the permit for Market Square falls through, we will gather at the State Building, 300 Liberty Ave.
The screwing continues

Update: Just two days after he proposed it the no good PA House of Reps has approved it. (It being the state budget for FY 03-04) There was NO debate! NO amendments! NO public comment! NO FUCKING DEMOCRACY!!! Please call our dear governor and ask him to please veto his own fucking budget after the PA Senate does as expected now and approves the budget early next week. How crazy. Lets demand that the Gov. veto his own budget. What gives? His phone # is 717-787-2500. PLEASE CALL
