Call to shut down pittsburgh (or at least part of downtown)
This is a call to all activists to shut down at least part of downtown Pittsburgh. I am not directly affiliated with any group but we need to show the war hawks that we will not stand for their killing in the name of money. What I am looking to do is to recreate the marches of J26 and M2. These marches MUST be NON-PERMITTED. These actions must also be COMPLETLY PEACEFUL (no throwing ANYTHING at ANYBODY / ANYTHING). We need to create a HUGE action to get support for the cause. If you like my idea take it to your activist group and add it to the list of emergency actions!

POG will be issuing a call and advertising soon for a snake march through downtown Pittsburgh at 5PM at the Federal Building. The purpose of this march will be to shut down, in a mobile manner, downtown Pittsburgh. If the war escalates, it is likely that more actions will be planned.

Just a note, the march called for by POG will support a diversity of tactics. We will not try to limit the actions of anyone participating in an action.

We need to make it clear that business as usual *will* be disrupted if they go through with this war. Our tactics need to get bolder as the war gets closer, and bolder still if and when it starts.
