At the time our nation gathered to watch what the nation's TV networks called a countdown members of the Saint Vincent College community gathered in a candle light peace vigil to collect thoughts.
For the small catholic campus in Latrobe PA a total turn out of 39 people, comprised of students, Benedictines, and professors, showed a great strength to those who watch on.
With just a few words we prayed for peace and supported our troops. Also remembering that the US will undoubtedly hurt some of the innocent in Iraq.
Wearing black arm bands and holding candles members of Students for Social Justice walked to the Basilica just as many of the campus members did in the remembrance in the days after 9-11. This was a site, showing the strength of the youth.
