Accounts I have read about the specific details about the sidewalk arrest are accurate. As far as numbers go, I was at a protest in Youngstown and I did an actual count of every person there. The number was around 225. The rally today had at least twice as many people in attendance. I would say fairly exact estimates would be from 500-600. 100 people is a grossly low number. After the crowd peacefully dispersed, some people went to Project 1877/IndyPgh to share their accounts of the day. The ACLU's number was given out and someone from a radio station called for an interview. Channel 2 did an interview with Nick Solic, an employee with the Allegheny County Health Department who may be the former police officer. Hopefully his interview will air on the 11 o'clock news... it was a very good account of what happened. From the desks of the Westminster Green Party Publicity/PR Department.
