you're mistaken - the claim was that DESPITE GETTING ON THE SIDEWALK the cops CONTINUED to spray people in the face - agressively charging up on the sidewalk

just look at the other picture - he's spraying a guy in the face who was standing w/ his arms outstretched KEEPING PEOPLE ON THE SIDEWALK

your personal feelings are obviously obstructing your ability to look at a picture and take it for what it IS... why do you defend tough-guy cops who hurt people? kind of a 'pre-emptive strike' by the cop, huh?

It's a little unfair the AP pictures say 'Pittsburgh Police' when it was the Edgewood/Swissvale cop doing all the pepper spraying! Hey had the industrial sized can of pepper spray. Those AP photos are pretty nifty, though.
