Tonight at 11

Tonight

Channel 2, KDKA will air interviews with march participants as well as the police during their 11 o'clock newscast. I'm curious to see how the corporate media spins it.

There's no "conclusive proof" that the cop kicked someone on the ground. He just made the those body motions to scare him, right?

Unbelievable.

Thanks for your post about the KDKA newscast. I don't have a TV, so I just got back from watching it at a friend's house. Of course, the story was about 30 seconds and had no depth whatsoever. Just seeing the footage of Tuffcop attacking us made my adrenaline go like crazy again. I hadn't seen any video footage yet, and they played several short clips several times. It looked pretty awful on TV! Then they had some bulls**t from the Edgewood chief of police, I think, where they showed him the footage of Tuffcop clearly kicking Bill (I think that's his name) and pronouncing the footage "inconclusive" for some very vague reason.

I wonder if it would be possible for any of you to get this interview digitized. I wasn't able to see the 11 o'clock news, but I would love to see what they had to say about police violence. If not maybe someone could just briefly write about what was said. Superness.

if anyone out there had the chance to watch the kdka story monday at 11 of sunday's rally and march, did you see the interview of the chief of police of edgewood, who publicly viewed one of the tapes that clearly shows kicking and unnecessary force used by police to "control" the crowd. how do the police expect to protect and serve when they are in desperate need to police themselves. we must continue the fight to end brutality not only around the world and in iraq, but at home as well
