Daycare,police violence,corporate media...

Peace Friends,
I have just viewed your most recent posts and comments on the newswire.
It makes me sad to see intelligent posts forgotten in the midst of name calling and finger pointing in most comments. I would like to note several points that may have been lost in the incoherant tounge lashing of many pro-killing/pro-war visitors to this site.

1. Police violence ---
at Demonstrations/protests/marches/etc.
"who's streets? Our Streets!" Not the government or the police or opposing views should keep you from your streets. Police are the governments street soldier
The public streets here in the U.S. they do not have bombs, or a liscense to kill - they simply carry guns 'just in case', mace/tear gas rifles, beating sticks, rubber bullet/bean bag guns, and the liscense to 'do what is needed to protect the people'.
THIS IS A POLICE STATE!!! Now more then ever we need to be fighting for and speaking out for our rights!

2. CHILDREN AT A PROTEST ---
"I'm sorry little Sally you can not have your voice heard today because the police person might hurt you"
Sad isn't it. How would the police react if all the children and all the cameras stood in front of the protest. Would the police attack the children while the whole event was being documented???? No one should remain silent in fear, if you are living in fear here in the U.S - land of the free - imagine the horror in other parts of the world. Only we the people of the united states have the freedom to speak out against injustice. In order to gain this right , people had to make their voice heard. If in the past all was silent human rights would be nonexistent. Don't let these rights be lost for your children!

3. Daycare -- yes this is a brilliant idea for all to become involved, PLEASE parents communicate and get this going.
