Excessive Police Force
by Joe Tuesday, Apr. 08, 2003 at 7:04 AM

Pittsburgh is not the only city where the police have reacted to demonstrators with excessive force. In Oakland, California, protestors and longshoremen were the targets of police shooting with wooden pellets.

Like Pittsburgh, the Oakland, CA city council approved a resolution opposed to the war. Unlike Pittsburgh, the Oakland Ca city council is investigating the police actions. So far, I have seen no evidence of any official interest to investigate the Pittsburgh Police.

Where is the Pittsburgh City Council?
