Please resize and compress for web...
by Brad Cue
Friday, Apr. 18, 2003 at 11:32 AM

This is more of a general comment to all who post pictures, but for the good of us all could you please learn how to resize and compress your images for web use? These pictures are huge! There is no reason that they can't be compressed to a more manageable size. It took me all of 30seconds to reduce the first picture from 175k to 25k, and make it a size that can be viewed by all through their web browser without scrolling.
Most image editing programs allow you to do some form of resizing. For most uses, there is no reason to go over 600pixels in size in either height or width.
This will make your pictures easier to view, and will increase the number of people who actually can view the message.

it sucks that these didn't come out til after the trial. the one showing us crossing the street clearly shows that police cars were present on all sides and we were being marched to our final destination....something the police LIED about in court.
also, there is a photo which shows people trying to disperse from sidewalk of william penn place and being held back by the police....amazing
"Because I'm the mommy and I said so"
by Out on bail...

Once Bubash said those words, you could safely assume it was over. There wasn't alot of room for facts or evidence in that courtroom. The police could have testified that they were wrong, and the outcome would have been the same.
P.S. I'll pay $10,000 for the back part of Kacsuta's mullet.
The pics are junk
by not a protestor
Friday, Apr. 18, 2003 at 1:36 PM
The pictures show nothing besides a guy's sweaty back, and folks standing on the sidewalk and crossing thestreet...AT THAT MOMENT....only one moment in time..........the one DID show a biker guy and a guy with flashlights stuck all over him jaywalking, though....
These pictures show nothing that would hold up in court.

those pictures do show something, exactly what anon said
the photo in the intersections shows that the intersection is surrounded with police cruisers and abandoned cars. the police testified that this was not the case in court.
the photo of people on the sidewalk with officers right up against them is from WPP and it shows people behaving calmly. officers testified that people were screaming, throwing stuff, and behaving in a very lewd manner. this photo does not give that impression but rather shows people obeying officers orders and moving to the sidewalk where they were surrounded by police and unable to move.
maybe justice can be served in some way with these pictures
plexi-glass shield guy....
by ouch
Friday, Apr. 18, 2003 at 4:39 PM
The guy getting a sharp plexi-glass shield to the throat certainly doesn't appear to be resisting much of anything. And with his body entirely on the ground (as apparent in the picture), I wonder how much of a threat he posed.
The outline of an officers hand near the top of the photo attempting to block out the image is pretty priceless too.
maybe get cop for purjury

Since we basicaly won(I don't consider the community service to be a punishment), we could possibly get some kind of suit against the officer that testified and charge him with purjury. If they can pull it off for Clinton lying about fucking I'd only hope it could be pulled off for a case that holds alot more importance. At least perhaps cost that bastard the job that he doesn't deserve. Did anyone else notice how heartless he was in his testimony? He showed no emotion like everything he said was preprogrammed. I don't understand how the judge could possibly have believed him, I mean, I could at least hold some bit of respect for the cop if he actualy sounded like he believed what he was saying or felt what he did was right, but damn, he didn't sound like he was proud to of "kept terrorists off the street", he just sounded like a lying redneck cracker. I think Pittsburgh could use some type of Copwatch program.

about the pics
by maryjanie
Saturday, Apr. 19, 2003 at 1:01 AM
i gave the lawyers doubles after we got out. also, there are numbers on the back showing the order in which they were taken. this proves that we were not on the street and the area was so crowded that you couldn't move.
so, yeah - people using crosswalks, staying off the street, and a cop successfully blocking me from taking pictures because it makes them nervous.
Excellent Evidence

The pictures are excellent evidence, and they are new evidence. This issue is not over. There will be more litigation, and there will be more sworn testimony.
Perjury is a very serious crime.
