State budget cuts will particularly impact healthcare. Come to a press conference on Friday, April 25

Our Health Care is at Risk

Our state's largest budget deficit in decades means the legislature is now considering the kinds of cuts that no one wants to think about:

* Cuts that would slash $176 million from hospital services.

* Cuts from MH/MR programs ($26 million), devastating services.

* Medicaid rate cuts to nursing homes by 10-12% (undermining care and putting homes out of business).

* Eliminating drug and alcohol treatment to 17,000 Pennsylvanians due to $68 million in reduced funding.
