Pittsburgh Organizing Group Yard Sale hopes to raise money to help defray accumulated legal costs. Yard sale takes place May 3, from 8am to 4pm. Come to 220 Pearl St. off of Liberty Ave. in Bloomfield.
Are you disgusted by the commodification of our everyday lives, but in need of a tasteful chair for your den? Does the very thought of shopping at a mall make your stomach turn, yet do you suffer the same reaction at the sight of your summer wardrobe?
Then check out the Pittsburgh Organizing Group Yard Sale, taking place May 3, from 8am to 4pm. Come to 220 Pearl St. right off of Liberty Ave. in Bloomfield to peruse an eclectic collection of goods. All items were donated by activists to raise money for those arrested marching for peace, ensuring every purchase will be money well spent!!
If you would rather contribute by donating goods to the yardsale, please contact by e-mail pog@mutualaid.org before May 3rd.

What "Business" does Project 1877 have??? They are not a "Business". "business" implies that they actual contribute productively to the eceonomic and social well being of the community at large. Project 1877 does nothing more than take up space and remove it from alternative productive uses.
And how about htat yard sale???? All items contribute by activisits. Is there really a big market for those bagwan beads to hang across teh doorway? Or how about a slightly used fourth hand couch with only very few bong water stains. Or some fifth hand peasant dresses and Che Gevarra pnchos. I'll bet this gets alot of traffic. More likely it will just be the activist Beavis and Butheads contributing their use adn tasteles stuff just to buy some other "activists" used and tasteless home furnishings. Hey, isn't that why the Soviet economy collapsed?

Sorry, everyone can't furnish their homes with seized property. Some of us have to buy their drugs and can't shake down corner boys or steal from the evidence room. Not to mention all the things that "fall off of trucks"
good one
