anyone else not finished with hours?

We have like 2 weeks till trial and I won't be able to start my hours till this weekend, I know one other person in the same situation. Is there anyone else thats not finished with their hours and wont be by the 11th? Anyone else who hasn't started? Anyone know what we're looking at legally when we go back without our hours completed? I contacted the Merton Center but they were of no help other then to say to contact Mike Healy, I have no email addy for him and am rarely home at a decent enough time to call his office, hence the reason why I've gotten no community service done yet. Anyone heard any discussion of getting extensions? If I could just get till freaking August I can finish my hours over my three week break.

From the Merton Center

This is Tim, Director of the Thomas Merton Center, surprised to read your message that you called the TMC and no one was able to help. If you are the one who called about being out of the state, that presents a unique situation. We are currently working on getting the answer to you. The following is an email that was sent to all on our email list who was arrested. Here it is in case you have not received it. Sorry to hear that the response you received was not adequate. I will make every attempt to find out who received the message and what happened.
Tim

Message from the attorneys for Pittsburgh 122:
Here's the procedure we need to follow to wrap up the protestors cases.

1. Each person needs to produce to either your office or our office proof of community service:
a. On Organization Letterhead signed by someone in a supervisory position;
b. it would be best if there could be time sheets attached itemizing days that work was performed.
2. People need to pay their $85 Court Cost before that day, and forward to your office or my office a receipt showing the above.(Or at least some sort of indication when they paid the costs)

If people do that they will not have to appear on July 11.

If they do not do that they will have to appear in Court july 11.If people have not completed community service, nor paid fines, and do not appear on July 11 the Court will issue a warrant for their arrest.

The following is a big concern:

1. I believe a number of people have not completed their community service.(Several people left messages at my office saying theu did not have time to do that) That will have 2 consequences:
a. The case against them will be reopened subjecting them to a conviction, fines, additional court costs, and potentially a small jail sentence.
b. it will make it more difficult for us to obtain such a result in the future.

2. The lawyers are not inclined to provide free representation on a second go around if people do not follow thru on commitments that led to the dismissal of charges.
