download PDF (79.9 kibibytes)

In the last dozen years, private armies have murdered nearly 2,000 union
organizers in Colombia, South America. Complicit in these crimes are
U.S.-based transnational corporations such as Coca-Cola.

In a July 5 presentation at Homestead's Pump House, Dan Kovalik, attorney
for the United Steelworkers of America, will describe the USWA's campaign
to fight back, within the law.

The Saturday discussion, sponsored by The Battle of Homestead Foundation,
is scheduled for July 5 at 1:30 PM.

July 6 is the 111th anniversary of the 1892 Battle of Homestead.

The Pump House is just east of the Pemicky rail bridge, on Waterfront
Drive. More information is available at 412-782-0171 or 412-363-5485, fax
784-8801.
