They got $150 million for the Penguins but NOTHING for public transit!!!!!!

Save Our Transit will protest the continued stalling by the PA General Assembly and the Governor to do anything about the present funding crisis for public transit in the Commonwealth. If you would like, please join fellow bus, trolley and Access riders on WED, JUNE 23 AT 9AM TO ASK OUR STATE LAW MAKES IF THEY GIVE A PUCK ABOUT BUS RIDERS. WE WILL GATHER AT MARIO LEMIEUX PLACE AND CENTRE AVE. Bring your hocket suff, sticks, jerseys etc...Also if you want bring along drums, noise makers, whatever.

Lets tell the politicians that we don't appreciate a subsidy of $150 million for Mario and his Penguins while we still face public transit fare hikes and the loss of our Sunday and nightime bus service.

They got billions for highways, sports arenas and even horse breeders but nothing for public transit.

Please join us, June 23, WED, 9AM till 10AM @ Mario Lemieux Place and Centre Ave. Thats right next to the Mellon Arena on the downtown side.

I don't know up from down

Sorry again. Mario Lemieux Place is at the Mellon Arena. Don't know if it is on the up or down side of the arena. Can't miss it though! Walk up the hill from downtown or ride the Lincoln Bus from downtown (outbound) or from Shadyside, East Libety, Lincoln, Upper Hill, Oakland (inbound).
Thanks
