Join us after the march this Sunday Aug 24th at 6 pm for the bi-weekly ARA-sponsored video and discussion at 1877.
This Sunday's movie is a winner of the Grand Jury Prize at the Sundance Film Festival, and one of the most acclaimed independent films of recent years. The Believer tells the story of young "Jewish Nazi" Danny Belint, once a promising Yeshiva student from Queens. But now, disillusioned by Judaism, he is an active member of an anti-Semitic band of hoodlums who terrorize Jews and plan attacks against them. Come watch and the discuss the movie and local actions you'd like to see to combat racism, sexism, heterosexism, and other forms of oppression in Pittsburgh.
6 pm on Aug 24th @ 1877 at the corner of S Mathilda and Penn Ave (Right on the 86B busline).

This film was truly well done. I've seen it a few times, and I'm not big on films. It is based on a true story.
