information

Can someone please tell me what Taco Bell has to do with anything? Obviously, all fast food franchises make billions of dollars while clogging arteries and paying their employees crap, but why specifically was taco bell targeted?
And can I borrow the cat suit? Yogi Bear is sick of being a bear.

why taco bell is targeted
by david Monday, Sep. 15, 2003 at 10:05 PM

Taco Bell refuses to take responsibility for its Florida tomato growers, who treat tomato pickers slightly better than prisoners. Workers are paid a meager $7,500 a year and they have no health insurance, pension, vacation or sick leave. In addition, Taco Bells shells contain Cry9C, a genetically modified corn deemed unfit for human consumption. Taco Bells parent company, Yum, which also owns Pizza Hut and KFC, is the largest quick-service food provider in the world--and they plan to impose their worker-oppressive, environmentally-unfriendly and unhealthy foods on the world at large.

thank you!
by Yogi Bear Tuesday, Sep. 16, 2003 at 1:18 PM

Thank you David. I appreciate that information. Yogi Bear will never eat at those dumps again (not that he even eats reprocessed food with preservatives, high fructose corn syrup, food colorings, and other mind/body killing additives). If you kids want to know some good information (while keeping money out of the pockets of those companies), try to eat organic foods. But don't be fooled by some who claim they are organic, check the label and look at the ingredients. Try to stay away from those chemicals they poison us with. The only problem is that Yogi Bear can't pay the high costs of organic food companies. East End Food Co-op is kind of expensive. But Yogi Bear promotes a healthy diet for the smart people of the world! Remember, only YOU can prevent mind poisoning and slave plantations!
Yogi Bear still wants to borrow the cat suit so he can get a date with a hot cat.
