About 250 protestors rallied outside the Westin Convention Center, protesting a $2,000 / plate dinner inside. Protestors included Steelworkers upset at Bush's likely decision to end the steel tariff, anti-war activists, and environmentalists.

Several of these peace flags, popular in Italy, were seen throughout the rally. Anti-war activists made up a large part of the crowd.
