Oakland's New Starbucks... remember when?

Although up and open for business today, it was just a few weeks ago when a group of people broke the windows and spraypainted their mind at the Starbucks-To-Be on Craig and Forbes.
Starbucks has come up short on its "commitment" to fair trade, and has enviornmental practices that are equally upsetting. What's more, this Starbucks is opening up right across the street from locally owned Kiva Han. Indeed, this area of Oakland has become a microcosm of our society: locally owned businesses being bullied out by large, multinational, bullies.
