Call to any interested in drumming, bucket drumming for economic justice on December 31 from 11:45 AM till 12:45 PM

The Pittsburgh City Council plans to vote on the budget for this next year on December 31 at a 10AM meeting. This budget is still very confusing with countless ideas for revenue raising and for budget cuts. ONE THING THAT IS NOT UP IN THE AIR IS THAT LOW INCOME AND POOR PITTSBURGHERS ARE ABOUT TO GET SCREWED WHILE THE RICH ARE ABOUT TO GET LEFT OFF THE HOOK.

fees, head taxes, privatization of public services, increase in the tax on wages but not any income that rich enjoy like capital gains, dividends, stock sales, inheritance...

Fees and head taxes have nothing to do with ability to pay. All pay the same regardless if they make $16 thousand / year or $16 million /
year. The rich can easily afford to pay for the private services that they want. The poor will have a hard time scraping up the extra dough to pay for privatized servies thay they need. (The mayor want to cut off the water to anybody who can not afford to pay the new trash fee.)

SO, IS ANYBODY INTERESTED IN DRUMMING FOR JUSTICE AT THE CITY-COUNTY BUILDING ON WED THE 31ST OF DECEMBER SAY FROM 11:45 AM TILL 12:45 PM? I will be there by 10AM to picket. Won't go inside anymore. Words are getting tired and besides they don't have the $$$ behind them that the words spoken by the Rodericks' and the Hillmans' and the Logans' or the Ories' do.

Get ready Pittsburgh our SAPS (Structural Adjustments Programs) are coming.

Please, if you can spare an hour that day come on by the City-County Building.
