CLEVELAND STREET MEDIC TRAINING

The Cleveland Radical Action Medics Collective is organizing a street medic training to help empower activist engaged in the struggle for social change and to better care for one another at mass gatherings, direct action and social uprising.

This training is geared towards Street Medics, Affinity Group Medics/Monitors and those interested in knowing how to care for one another in the streets.

Those attending the training will learn first aid skills for use in the streets, chemical weapons decontamination and other topics relevant to ensuring the well-being of activist in the streets.

DATE: The tentative dates for the training are February 27-29 (subject to change due to the schedules of the trainers). This is an intensive, three day training with a half day on Friday and full days both Saturday and Sunday. We respectfully request that you be commited to attending and participating in all three days of the training.

LOCATION: The training will take place in Cleveland, Ohio, with exact locations to be announced in the near future.

COST: The training is provided on a sliding scale basis of $0-50. These funds help to cover the cost of the training. NO ONE WILL BE TURNED AWAY IF THEY ARE UNABLE TO DONATE.

HOUSING: Housing will be available on a limited basis to those travelling from out of town.
