Discrimination at work
by Jim Carberry Saturday, Mar. 26, 2011 at 6:50 PM

Working at Fidelity

There is a ceiling that I cannot rise above.

It is invisible and made of hate.

They keep me down because I am gay.

They keep me down because I am better than they are.

Why should it matter to them whom I love?

Why do they care what I do in the night, in the dark, in my own bed?

Why can't they see me for who I really am?
