information on a Overweight XXXL Big Bad Fat Ass You Ain't Moving Me bloc for the March 20th mass march and rally, part of pittsburgh regional convergence against war and occupation.
March 20 Pittsburgh Call for a Lard-Ass Bloc!
Over the last 15 months, Pittsburgh has taken a vehement stand against Super SIzed Beverages, Extra Large Fries, Happy Meals, and the war and occupation of Iraq. And throughout this struggle, the overweight, heavyset, Two Tons Of Fun, XXXL Transgender transfattyacid mumu wearing chunky and huggable people of size and girth of Pittsburgh have been a constant and enthusiastic contributor to our attempts to stop the war and the assault on our freedom to eat whatever adn whenever we damn well please. One year after the invasion of Iraq, one year after beginning of the end of the slaughter of innocent citizens of Iraq, one year after the onset of military engagements results in the grant of freedom to so many promising Iraqi lives, Pittsburgh will once again take to the streets to register its protest. As the future of this city, this country, and this world, adn the Size Sized Menu at McDonalds, chunky folk must rise up to stop these egregious wrongs and assaults on freedom.
This is a call for the Super Sized of Pittsburgh to join together and combine their accumulated mass to say, “Just You Try And Move Me!” On March 20th, the Anti-Lo-Fat-Menu Committee of the Dave Thomas Mutton Center has organized a march and rally, endorsed by 52 different groups (including the Center For The PRomotion Of The Burka In America, The Islamist Students Association, and The Center For Peace And Injustice, as the centerpiece of the weekend long regional convergence events. More information at the convergence and mass march-rally is available at http://www.pittsburghmarch20.org
The overweight, Super Sized, Big as a Barn Crowd of Pittsburgh and the surrounding region must play a key role in making sure that the message of this event gets through and the even if the police turn the fire hoses on the march, all you will get is a bath. "cause not even a Rachel Corrie memorial Bulldozer could move a line of chunky peaceniks motivated by the free buffet at the end of the rally. In order to accomplish this, the XXXXXL Set must play a visible role in all the activities of the weekend. To this end, we, the XXXL and Loving It from all over the region, from all different socio-economic backgrounds, and from all different types of beliefs (i.e. Is Cheesecake a fruit or vegetable), will march together as a ‘Big Ass Bloc’. We must also participate in other activities during the weekend, especially including the civil disobedience (A non-violent sit-in ... we can be particular helpful at the sit-ins) being organized by the Pittsburgh Organizing Group (http://www.organizepittsburgh.org) to directly attack the snack machine at Carnegie Mellon University. This March 20th, let us take a new step towards stopping the arbitrary limits placed on all-you-can-eat specials at Red Lobster.
The ‘Big Ass Bloc’ will be gathering at 1:00pm at Flagstaff Hill, look for the cheeseburger themed banner.
Let us create the world we want to eat in.

My money's on Beilchich, although Pasquarelli can probably hide alot of cheesesteak under his deep-cover Pirate shirt.
George has been known to participate in 'meat-eating' contests, too, but they tend to be in rest stops and public parks.
I see a marketing opportunity

If you could have the Cheesesteak eating contest at the rally, maybe on the back of a flatbed. You could call it "Cheesesteaks For Peace" or "Eat For Iraq". I would be happy to photcopy some flyers for you. My boss doesn't seem to mind (besides, let him try and stop me).

humerous. It's good to see the pro-war crowd at least make an attempt at satire. There is a lot of good material in this anti-war events, and breaking that monotony, even if it's done by pro-war folks, is cool.

There is a lard-ass bloc at every demo, they're called 'police' I just figured they would hang up their recruiting signs in the break rooms, or the rape rooms at ACJ, or in the bathroom of the Alpine Tavern when they collect their bribes.
The City must really be broke if they need to recruit cops for demos on indymedia.
Where were you guys ?!

But I was so famished I couldn't go on any further without a forklift. I was dying for a ham sandwich. Can we get some catering at these rallies or food tents. Yeah, like at teh carnival. Smoked Sausages, cheesesteaks, funnel cakes.
