ACORN will be holding a press conference and rally to stand against
the skyrocketing foreclosures in Allegheny County. Our communities
are at risk! We are calling for a Moratorium on Foreclosures until we
can figure out how to Help Save People's Homes! 4000 foreclosures
were filed in Allegheny County in 2003....6,000-8,000 are predicted.

Low income, African American, and elderly people are most often the
targets of predatory lending.

Sub-prime lenders are the leading foreclosers in our neighborhoods.

Profiting from this loss of homes will be the slumlords who break
houses up into apartments and turn our neighborhoods from nice places
where everyone owns their homes to streets full of unkept, crime-
ridden housing units in disrepair.

After the Rally, we will stand in solidarity with our neighbors at
the Sheriff's Sale, and we will plead for more time to help them.

This is everyone's problem-please call ACORN to see how you can help.
We plan on having 100 people at the rally, so call today! 412 441-6551
